Micromax officially launches Superfone Pixel A90, Canvas A100 and Funbook Pro


Micromax has officially announced the launch of the Superfone Pixel A90, Canvas A100 smartphones and Funbook Pro tablet. The Micromax Superfone Pixel A90 has been priced at Rs. 12,990, while the Canvas A100 comes for Rs. 9,999. The Micromax Funbook Pro tablet has a price tag of Rs. 9,999. It's notable that the specifications and pricing of these devices had already been revealed on the web.
Superfone Pixel A90
The Micromax Superfone A90 has a 4.3-inch display with 800x480 pixel resolution. It runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and is powered by a 1GHz dual-core processor.
The Superfone A90 features an 8MP camera with flash, 0.3MP front-facing camera, 512MB of RAM, 32GB expandable storage via microSD card, and a 1,600 mAh battery. In terms of connectivity, it features 3G, Bluetooth 2.1, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, microUSB, 3.5mm audio jack, and FM radio. The device comes preloaded with Micromax's voice-assistant AISHA.
Canvas A100
The Micromax Canvas 100 has a large 5-inch touch display with 480 x 854 pixels resolution. It supports dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) with dual standby.
The device runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and is powered by a 1GHz dual-core processor. The A100 has a 5MP camera with LED Flash, 4GB internal storage, microSD card slot that supports storage up to 32GB, and a 2,000 mAh battery. Learn more about the device here.
Micromax is planning to release Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update for both the smartphones (A90 and A100) later this quarter or early next quarter.

Funbook Pro
The Funbook Pro is an advanced version of the original Funbook tablet that was launched earlier this year. The Funbook Pro has a 10.1-inch display (with 1024 x 600 pixels resolution), as compared to the 7-inch display of the Funbook. The Funbook Pro is powered by a Cortex A8 1.2GHz processor. It has 1GB of RAM.

Other specifications of the Funbook Pro include a VGA front facing camera, 8GB built-in storage and microSD card slot that supports storage up to 32GB. For connectivity, the device supports 3G via USB, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g, and USB 2.0. It also has a HDMI port. The device comes with a massive 5,600 mAh battery. Sony launches Xperia Ion in India at Rs. 36,999

Sony has officially announced the launch of the Xperia Ion in India. Priced at Rs. 36,999, the Sony Xperia Ion runs on Andriod 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and is powered by a 1.5GHz dual-core Qualcomm processor, coupled with Adreno 220 GPU, on the MSM8260 Snapdragon chipset.
